when The rain plan turns out okay

I got to create a wedding that captured the essence of the spunky Maryland girl and the hype-boy from Virginia, blending the best of both worlds while celebrating their love for one another and incredible zest for life. It was a day filled with love, laughter, rich food, rich colors, and the heritage of both families. These two are some of the most vivacious humans you’ll ever meet so we wanted their event to reflect that. It was bursting with color and joy!

We had planned an outdoor ceremony and outdoor dinner at Estelle but the rain got the best of us and we moved the entire affair inside. If they were disappointed, they did not show it. I’m so proud of the vendor team for being able to pivot and pull off a great event with limited space.

There are so many personal details in this event from handwritten notes to each guest, and the groom’s family favorite: banana puddin’… It was truly a joy to plan this one! Congratulations, B & S!
