Nick + Jocasta at East Ivy Mansion

Jocasta is one of us! Well, not exactly. She’s a pharmacist by trade and degree, but she loved weddings and events so much, she assisted me for years before becoming a bride herself and has since moved away to Alaska!

Nick + Jo hosted a black-tie event in the charming gardens of East Ivy Mansion in Nashville, Tennessee. Nick and Jocasta entertained 60 of their closest and friends and family with style and class. It was the perfect autumn day, surrounded by clear balloons and clear, acrylic chairs, historic house and pool, sparkler wands, cotton candy, late night pizza and plenty of dancing!

This was my first time using LED sparklers at an event and IT. WAS. INCREDIBLE. My team passed them out while guests were dancing and, as it turns out, they are excellent dance floor props.

Once it was time to send the couple off, guests were ready and created the perfect aisle! Nick + Jo walked around the block and returned back to the mansion to stay the night, one of the many reasons I love East Ivy Mansion.
