WHAT DOES READ EVENT HOUSE MEAN?
Read Event House is about 20 months old and I realized that I’ve never shared the meaning behind my company name.
I love architecture and interior design. Maybe it was all the house shopping and “Parade of Homes” tours I did with my parents throughout childhood. Maybe it’s because both of my grandfathers were home builders. Maybe it’s the traveling I’ve done or the year I spent in Southern France. Whatever the reason, I love interior design and architecture. Unique, old, ornate, modern, you name it. I find it so inspiringand each unique venue drives my event design. If I had to choose a new career path right now, I’d go back to school and study architecture or start an interior design company.
I have vendor partners that I love and trust. When I’m crafting a wedding, I ensure that my clients are getting the best of the best. I select vendors who I have worked with before, who are collaborative, creative and fun to work with. When my vendors enjoy their job and enjoy working with me, the day just goes so much more smoothly that otherwise. My vendor partners are my work family… Families live in houses... Thus, Read Event House.
